An activityboard for L that did not get ready for Christmas, but now it is! A lot of buttons, bolts, screws and other fun parts. Good training of fine motor skills.
The board is 20 mm cheap plywood, and the fittings are found in the stash, or bought at the hardware store, the onoff switches came from a electronic store. Everything is screwed or glued on. The small hatches contains a mirror and a chalkboard. The blocks comes from an old game, and are fixed with velcro so that they are movable. Thanks to the dad who has routed and screwed on request.

SvaraRaderaI love this! What a genius concept:).
SvaraRaderaI just love this. It's all real as the best play things should be!
SvaraRaderaI adore this - went shopping tonight to make one for my babies - thank you!
SvaraRaderaPersonally, I think that teaching kids that there are fun things behind safety locks is just asking for trouble. I can see where it would be fun for them but I think it's like teaching them how to take the childproof caps off the medicine. Aren't locks and latches there for a reason?
