I started blogging 2 years ago, to keep me occupied while staying at home with my 2 kids. L was still a baby, and A was nearly 4 at the time. It has been a great way of trying to show and share ideas in a simple yet describing way. And getting instant feedback! It has challenged me to come up with new ideas for crafts for kids to make, objects I want to have in my home and gifts I think will be well recieved. For me this is about setting up some boundaries for the project, choosing the material and giving the option of 2-3 colours, and then step back and let them express theirselves, only helping when necessary. But everything starts with where my kids have their interest at the moment, and what skills they have. And it is all about having fun.
And I have had a lot of fun blogging! So happy anniversary to lilla a! And thank you to all my readers for coming back and writing nice comments!
These are the most visited posts through the 2 years: toddlers activityboard, marble maze and shoebox house exhibition.
Thank you all so much for sharing, I must say there where many surprises for me among them!
And the winners of the Give Away was number 8, anonym med pakkekalenderen, and 19, hedvig who sent the comment as an email. Congratulations, send me your adresses, and a set of the Christmas Craft Calendar will be coming your way!
Many of you requested crafts for toddlers. And I agree, it is a challenge to find nice crafts for 2 year olds, who paints the walls when you turn your back at them for a moment, and claims thet they can do everything themselves and refuses get help! But it is a wonderful age and they actually master a lot if they have a go. So yes, more of that is coming up! Will be listed under pyssel för småfolk.
